This is a wallpaper that I just made. I made this for my desktop but if anyone has any requests I’d be happy to make them one as well. Just reblog it or leave us something in the ask box.
Let’s just call this Wallpaper Wednesday.

If you haven’t heard, today is my 17th birthday. Oh, no need to bow down. Get up. It’s alright. Oh, for me? Why thank you, imaginary inferior, for this imaginary gift. As for the rest of you, no need on getting me anything, your undying love and devotion for me will do.
Anyhoo, growing up: When you’re 5, its what you want to do sooooooooo badly. By 10, you and your friends are already planning on what you’re gonna do as badass adults (I wanted to be a Jedi, but oh well. I still have time to train, right?). But when you hit around 15-16, you realize: Oh shit. I’m going to be a motherfucking adult. Oh shit. And that’s when the panic sets in.
And I know, there are amazing perks to being an adult. But as a teenager, you look at your parents (and I know everyone has done this) and you realize, Fuck no am I going to end up like them. Unless your dad is like, Stephen Colbert. Because then you’re the heir to the throne of the GREAT AMERICAN HERO. Yeah, Stevie Colbert is GI Joe. You didn’t know that?
My point is, I’ve always had a goal set for me, ever since I was a kid. I’ve decided that although I may grow up physically, I don’t have to grow up mentally. Well, I do. I mean, I won’t be ridiculously immature…I won’t be Tom Hanks in Big. And if you got that reference, well, kudos to you.
But I just don’t wanna let go on the really awesome things of being a kid: childlike wonder, curiousity, that sense of adventure that leads you and your friends to go climbing onto your roof at midnight even though its clearly icy and slippery and you almost die falling off, sillyness, and most importantly, fun.
Because if you’re not having fun in life, what’s the point of living?
Unless you’re Stephen Colbert. Then you can’t die. Because then America dies with you. Obviously.
